TreeFrog LineRemote™
This is a technology solution to help with data capture where Treefrog
Line Control is required to be used, but where PC's cannot be placed,
or where the ine is running unattended for long periods.
The software requires that Line Control is installed and works on most Java enabled PDA's such as those made by Hewlet Packard (It can even work on a Java enabled mobile phone). This software provides a direct connection to a Line Control server, facilitating the capture of failure reasons via radio / VLAN.
This system requires the least expensive cabling solution, when for example capturing data from Production Cells. Here it can be difficult to use conventional network and mains cabling due to the open and flexible nature of the Cell Production layout.
This product supports both Virtual and SCADA linked data capture, however, editing of uncoded failures and starting a new batch is carried out on a Line Control PC.
